It's The Truth

It’s The Truth

This seems a bit applicable, don’t you think? At the moment I’m getting through the end of a quarter so you’ll have to bear with me while I make it through the end of it. Till then, feel free to posts links to poems below in the comments. I could use some good reading while mucking through my work.

This Will Hurt

If life came
with a label
it should read
‘this will hurt’

because it will
make you ache
so damn much
so damn good

for so many things

It’s short. It’s sweet. It’s Friday, folks! Tossed together this poem a little while ago. Just talking here about how there’s always so many things in life to do, or that we can do, it makes it almost hurt to think you might never be able to do them all. It’s a good thing, don’t get me wrong, to want to keep experiencing new things, traveling to new places, or learning something you didn’t know but it’s a yearning that’s constantly there. It’s a hurt that’s bittersweet about it the more you think on it.

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope this weekend that your drinks are colds, your nights long, and that Monday finds you roaring and ready to go.
